QUALIFICATION
Professor

• I Several years of teaching and professional experience in areas of specialty in a University or comparable
• Ability to initiate and develop research project.
• Some Administrative experience
• Substantial scholarly publications in National and International Journals.
• Experience in initiating and developing academic group project
• Experience in working in interdisciplinary groups is desirable.
• Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in area if specialty is mandatory for clinical disciplines
• Ability to supervise Postgraduate Research (including Ph. D. candidates in areas of expertise and Fellowship candidates for Clinical specialties)
• Registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
(I) Several years of teaching and professional experience in areas of specialty in a University of comparable institution
(II) Ability to initiate and develop research project.
(III) Some Administrative experience.
(IV) Substantial Scholarly publications in National and International Journals.
(V) Experience in initiating and developing academic group project.
(VI) Experience in working in interdisciplinary groups.
(VII) Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or it equivalent in area of specialty is required.
(VIII) Ability to supervised Postgraduate Research (including Ph. D candidates in areas of expertise and fellowship candidates for Clinical specialties.
(IX) Registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body.

SENIOR LECTURER
(I) A good honors degree in specialty with a higher degree such as Ph. D or Fellow qualification for clinical disciplines.
(II) At least 5 years teaching experience in a University of comparable Institution.
(III) Ability to initiate and develop research project.
(IV) Ability to supervised postgraduate studies
(V) A good nuMber of scholarly publications in national and international publications
(VI) Must be registered with appropriate professional regulatory body.

LECTURER 1
(I) As for Senior lecturers in (i) above
(II) At least 3 years of teaching experience in a university of comparable institution
(III) Some scholarly publications in national and international journals.

DIRECTOR
A good honor degree in Accounting of Finance in addition to a recognized Professional qualification such as CAN, ACA, ACCA, etc . Candidates should have not less than 15 years post qualification working experience in a university or institution of comparable standing. Computer literacy in Excel and Microsoft word is mandatory. Candidates must have served as Deputy Director of Audit or equivalent.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Candidate must possess a good honors degree/HND in Accounting plus the final professional Qualification with not less than 6 years work experience. Professional Accounting experience in a University Account/Audit Department would be an advantage. Computer literacy is essential and must be proficient in the use of excel, Access and Peach-tree software’s

AUDITOR I
Same as above, but with 2 years work experience.

ACCOUNTANT II

Candidates should have a good first degree in Accounting or related discipline with ICAN/ANAN Certificates with at least one year work experience, preferably in the Finance Department of a University/College of Medicine. Candidate must be computer literate.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II

Candidate should possess first degree (preferably in Humanities) from recognized University. Evidence of discharge or exemption from NYSC is essential. Candidate must have acquired experience in a University or College of Medicine or comparable institution.

TECHNOLOGIST I

Final certificate of the Institute of Science Laboratory Technologist of Nigeria with specializations in Microbiology/Virology and at least three (3) years Post qualification experience

Technologist II

Final certificate of the Institute of Science Laboratory Technologist of Nigeria with specialization in Microbiology/Virology and at least two (2) years Post qualification

Senior Executive Officer (Passages)
Candidate should have at least an HND in Tourism & Hotel or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years experience in Tourism and Passages services. Evidence and discharge from NYSC or exception there fro is mandatory

CONDITION OF SERVICE
Appointment, which will be on permanent basis, would commence as soon as possible.
Appointees would be on probation for the first two years in the case of non-acadeic staff and years for academic staff and would be considered for confirmation to retiring age thereafter, subject to satisfactory performance. Other conditions of Service are as state in the Senior Staff Conditions of Service of Federal Universities.
